What is an exercise scientist and strength and conditioning coach?

We are not personal trainers. We are university qualified professionals with the highest level of training in exercise and sports science.  Our coaches are equipped with the skills and knowledge to improve general health, fitness, and sporting performance to effectively help beginners, elite athletes, and everyone in between achieve their fitness and sporting goals.

Our approach

We avoid the ‘latest’ myopic approaches, cookie cutter and flavour of the month exercise and training methods. Instead, we use a systematic approach that’s tailored to each client’s individuals needs and goals to ensure proven success. We focus on achieving long term success with the latest in scientific based training principles that are effective and sustainable.

  • Strength and conditioning

    We can assist in increasing your strength, muscle mass, aerobic fitness, and improvement of body composition through tailored programming and coaching.

    We have worked with a variety of individuals on each end of the continuum of sport performance which allows us to successfully formulate training plans and coaching approaches which are appropriate and unique to each client.

    Often what is ‘optimal’ may not be appropriate, which is why we always try gaining a more in depth understanding of our clients, their history, and preferences to ensure success and long-term sustainability.

  • Sport performance

    We offer off-season, preseason and in-season specific training to improve your sports performance and manage injury risk.

    We understand the requirements and demands of different sports. This allows us to test, train and develop specific metrics and skills which best transfer to improved sporting performance.
